Command Experience
Prior Command Experience: (Yes/No) Yes
If yes, where?: Jedi Master/Jedi Lead (Vortex Gaming), Naval Rear Admiral (HT.S Gaming), 501st XO (Project Pandora), Marshal Commander (Nebula Networks CWRP/My own server), Naval Grand Admiral (Nebula Networks Imperial RP/My Server), Shock XO (Vortex Gaming), Death Trooper CO (SRP, Can't remember the full server name), and Officer positions in 3 other servers I cannot recall, but I was usually LT+ in either 501st, Shock, or 327th (Usually CW servers)
Leadership/Command Experience: (Briefly describe your experience)
As a CO/XO, I found myself doing the usual tasks. Mainly organizing the battalion, whether that be formulating SOPs/Rosters, planning tryouts, and hosting active trainings for my battalion. Primarily speaking with regard to army battalions (501st, Shock, etc.), I focused on two things: balance and lore accuracy. To me, balance means that I want to equally focus on maintaining a fun atmosphere while also ensuring we have RP-focused moments. FRP was a serious issue I noticed in other battalions, and I was quick to ensure that trolls/FRPers were not able to ruin the experience in my battalion, usually by regulating when and where RP needed to be taken seriously. As Death Trooper Commander, this was especially important, considering it was a Special Forces battalion with a critical role, so maintaining the reputation of the battalion was a top priority. I mainly enforced these rules with a strike system, where one strike was issued as a verbal warning. In this warning, I informed the member that their behavior at the time was not appropriate or out of place, depending on the specifics of the situation. After that, if there were further violations, I issued a formal warning for repeated behavior, and a third strike would result in either a kick from the battalion or temporary removal, depending on the severity. I do not like running battalions as some power-hungry CO, but I do care about the RP experience of my battalion and of the server as a whole, and it would reflect on me poorly as a CO if my battalion were the cause of issues that affected events or just general server activity. As I mentioned earlier, I also strive to maintain a fun environment. During downtime, I would encourage my battalion to focus on personal bonding and other usual downtime activities, within server rules, of course. The environment in my battalion should be held together with respect for one another. We are in an RP server to have fun, not to simulate a strict military environment. We should be able to constantly share our enjoyment of Star Wars and the Gmod SWRP community together, while being able to participate in RP when the moment calls for it. As a CO, the last thing that I would want is for there to be complaints about my leadership or organization of the battalion, so to maintain a fun and fair environment, I focus on always taking feedback when I can. My battalion should be able to rely on me during events as a Commander, but also as a friend on the server in general, which I feel all COs should want. In servers in the past, the main issues I've seen from battalions and their commanders is drama. Members complaining about their COs, COs being too strict or too serious when it is unneccessary, and worst of all FRP, sometimes even from entire battalions. For example, when I was 501st XO on Pandora, there was a CO of the Galactic Marines that recruited all of their friends to join the server and recruited them all to their battalion, which then led to an entire battalion that would break rules and create drama, and eventually, they became an entire voting block, who would push/borderline bully server leadership into making bad decisions for the server, and getting mad when they didn't get their way. And this one battalion single handedly pushed the server to eventually closing down. Seeing that helped build my idea of what I do not want a battalion to become, and I have held the philosophy that problematic people should be removed sooner rather than later before they can cause problems. Overall, throughout my many years I've had on Gmod SWRP, across multiple servers including the server I myself have owned, I have built up not only experience in leadership, but also experience in the model of the ideal battalion, which in turn has taught me valuable lessons about how to work with people and how to create the best environment possible for my battalion and fellow server members.
Motivation & Qualifications
Why do you want to join the command team? (3+ sentences)
There are a few reasons. For one, I am just getting back into Gmod SWRP for the first time in about 10 months or so. I last played when I was building/preparing to launch my own server for its third itteration, so I have been itching to get back into it as a member instead of an owner or developer. Also, I love the process of building community and organizing it, because I find personal pleasure in being responsible for building an environment where everyone can be accepted and participate a community built around the favorite franchise we all hold dear. I have loved Star Wars my entire life, since I was about five or six when I first played Lego Star Wars: TCS, and since then I have always tried to find people who love it just as much as I do. So, I have been looking for a new/smaller community to help with, since my own failed, as I feel I have a lot of experience to bring to the table, but I also wanted to avoid joining larger servers such as Icefuse, since I really dispise the damage they have done to the Gmod SWRP Community. I feel as though being apart of the Command Team, I could play a role in organizing an essential part of the roleplay experience, and having the privilege of leading the 501st Attack Battalion means that I will also play the role in organizing one of the most loved battalions in the Star Wars community. Why are you a good fit for the Commander position? (4+ sentences)
I believe I am a good fit for a Commander position for a couple of reasons. For starters, I have plenty of experience, as I mentioned earlier in my last prompt. I know what it means to be a good commander, and more importantly, what a bad commander looks like. I strive to be open to feedback, I prioritize balance between fun and seriousness, and do not demand respect, but instead work to earn it. My experience speaks not just to my ability to run a battalion in the basic sense (creating documents and running trainings), but also to my ability to manage community. The ability to work with people, whether that be the members of a battalion, other commanders, or server leadership, is essential in being a commander. People have expectations and desires when being apart of a community like this. They want their environment to be fair, accepting, fun, and well managed. They desire to be promoted, to have good roleplay experiences, and to be treated as a person above all else. People don't like demanding or strict commanders, because at the end of the day, we are only their commanders in roleplay. Outside of that, we are friends, with the only exception being that I as a commander will hold them accountable no matter what, as is fair to maintain a non-chaotic enviornment. So, overall, I believe I am a good fit because I know what people want, and more importantly, how to give that to them. It is my responsibility to create a fun environment in my battalion, which, hopefully, will in turn aid creating a fun environment in the server.
What can you accomplish as a Commander? (4+ sentences)
As mentioned above, I can accomplish many things. Creating a fun and balanced environment in my battalion, training my battalion to be effective in roleplay and events, doing my part to build an efficient and fun environment in the server, and most importantly organize the battalion to the best of my ability, focusing on creating a space where members can recieve recognition/appreciation and have motivation to always be better, both as members of my battalion and members of the server as a whole. I strive to earn respect and make sure all members are held equally accountable to the rules of the server and of the battalion while under my supervision. I also strive to work well with other commanders, for complete efficiency during events, and most importantly, maintaining our high reputation, as the 501st, also known as "Vader's Fist", was known as being the battalion of elite troopers under the direct command of Lord Vader. I hope that my leadership ability can carefully balance the focus on fun within my battalion when applicable, while also maintaining the focus on seriousness in RP to maintain the reputation I mentioned before.

If this question is referring to this server specifically, then none, considering the server has just opened.
Do you understand your Battalion/Squad lore? (Include key characters, events, or battles)
Yes, absolutely. The 501st played a pivotal role in the Clone Wars, as well as the Galactic Civil War as apart of the Empire. During the Clone Wars, the 501st was led by Anakin Skywalker, his padawan Ahsoka Tano, and Captain Rex. Of the many major battles the 501st participated in, I can name a few. For example, the Umbara Campaign. I recall this specific battle because I just recently rewatched the Umbara arc of the Clone Wars. During the Umbara Campaign, the 501st was tasked with leading a direct attack on the capital city, attempting to shut down supply lines and clear the surrounding areas of the Umbaran fighters in order to assist Obi Wan Kenobi and the 212th in their seige of the city. Eventually, Jedi General Krell took over leadership of the 501st, purposefully issuing orders that resulted in the deaths of many clones, and eventually revealing himself as a traitor. During campaigns like this, the 501st were known for their ruthlessness, their strategy, and their careful approaches with their assaults on primary objectives. With the unorthidox strategies of Anakin Skywalker, they found themselves earning many victories throughout the war. Victories such as these were earned not only because of their strategy, but also because of the skill of the troopers apart of it. We see troopers such as Fives and Echo, ARC Troopers who fought in battles like the Battle of Tipoca City and the battle on the Rishi Moon, who continuously show their desire for victory along with their desire for prioritizing the lives of their brothers. Echo, of course, later became part of the Bad Batch after he was captured and turned into a cyborg by the Separatists. And of course, we cannot forget Tup, who had a malfunction with his inhibitor chip and killed Jedi General Tiplar. Following this, Fives searched for answers, resulting in his death by Commander Fox. And of course, the 501st participated in the most essential event of Order 66, when they marched on the Jedi Temple with Anakin as he fell to the dark side. My favorite part of this specifically was the 501st Journals, which detailed the event from their perspective, describing how they felt as they were called back to Coruscant and eventually marched on the temple, mentioning the silence and the tension as they internalized what they were about to do. Then, during the rise of the Empire, Vader had full confidence in the lethality and efficiency of the 501st, and through many deployments, they slowly earned the nickname "Vader's Fist". However, over time, the clones were slowly replaced with Storm Troopers because of Palpatine's Stormtrooper Program. But despite this, the 501st maintained it's lethality, and continued to be Vader's primary enforcers. In lore, they were the troopers that took part in the raid on Leia's Tantive IV at the beginning of ANH/following Rogue One. There are countless other important bits of lore in the 501st, more than I could write in an entire essay, but as such an important battalion, they have taken part in countless battles and events throughout the ages of The Republic and The Empire. I try to learn as much as I can about the 501st as I feel it is impossible to know everything, but most of my knowledge comes from the Clone Wars TV show as well as certain comics, which I have either read entirely or read summaries of. I hope what I have written is sufficient in displaying my knowledge, but if not, know that as a Star Wars nerd, I will never truly stop learning about Star Wars, ever.
